These “Funky Self Portraits” were part of a 4 hour workshop were Mary was an Artist mentor at the PASS program. Artwork will be displayed at the Denny site in Snohomish county and will travel to public displays for two years, then returned to the artist who made them.

Inspired by my love of the sea! I invisioned a crown washed up on the shore and with it a tale of lost glory, a ship wreck , a lost  sailor. This mixed media piece is stitched and collaged and mounted on painted wood from a barn in Snohomish. Visit it in person at the Matter gallery www.matteroly.com  in Olympia!
